Introduction of BTS Base Station Cabinet
Designed for large-scale outdoor telecommunication infrastructure, this BTS Base Station Cabinet provides 42U of standard 19-inch mounting space within a footprint of W800mm × D800mm, complemented by a 150mm plinth for secure floor mounting. With an IP55 ingress protection rating, the cabinet effectively shields internal equipment from dust and low-pressure water jets, making it well-suited for exposed outdoor environments.
The cabinet body is fabricated by 1.5mm galvanized steel, while load-bearing structures and the plinth are upgraded to 2.0mm thickness for added strength. 20mm PEF thermal insulation is integrated into the walls to enhance temperature stability. The exterior is finished with a polyester powder coating of color RAL7035, delivering long-lasting corrosion resistance. Security is ensured by an anti-theft three-point locking system on the front door, which also serves as the sole access point for all installation and maintenance activities.
For cooling, the cabinet features a 48VDC 1500W air conditioner mounted directly on the front door as the primary thermal management solution. In case of air conditioner failure or extreme heat load, four 48VDC emergency fans equipped with a thermal controller automatically activate to provide backup or supplemental airflow. Cables enter and exit through the bottom of the cabinet, with side-mounted brackets keeping internal wiring organized. A 48VDC LED light with a switch is also installed, offering convenient interior illumination for nighttime or low-light maintenance tasks.
